Qn: On waking up, the world suddenly appears. Where does it come from?
Ans: Before anything comes into being, there must be somebody to whom it comes. This presupposes- a changeless background.
Qn: Before waking up, I was unconscious!
Ans: On waking up, the experience 'I am the body' in the world rises. Is it not important to know whether you are a mere body or something else- or nothing at all.
All your problems are of the body: food, clothes, shelter, family, friends, name, fame, security and survival.
Qn: What is the benefit in knowing I am not the body?
Ans: Even that is not quite true. You are all the bodies, minds and hearts. The sense of 'I am' is always with you. Only you have attached body, feelings, thoughts, ideas and possessions to it.
It is enough to know what you are not. You need not know what you are. Knowledge means description- perceptual and conceptual. Without an experiencer, the experience is not real. Memory creates the illusion of continuity.
Experiences appear in the undivided and indivisible awareness, each separate in memory, identical in essence. This essence is the root , foundation, timeless and spaceless 'possibility' of all experience. You are it.
