16. Desirelessness- the Highest Bliss

Qn: I have met many realized persons but never a liberated man. Does liberation mean also abandoning the body?

Ans: What do you mean by Realization and Liberation.

Qn: Realization is a wonderful experience of peace, goodness and beauty. Liberation is permanency in that state.

Ans: Liberation is of the Self from false and self-imposed ideas, not in any particular experience, however glorious.

All experience is time bound, with a beginning and end. Turn away from the experience to the experiencer. What is wrong with being, knowing and acting effortlessly and happily.

The state of craving for experience blocks all deeper experience. Want the best, the highest happiness, the greatest freedom. Desirelessness is the highest BLISS.

Qn: I want the freedom to fulfill my longings.

Ans: You are free to; in fact you are doing nothing else. Overcome obstacles and weakness. Don't scatter your energy in contradictory desires.

Only God's energy is infinite. Be like Him and all your desires will be fulfilled. The higher your aim, the more energy you will have.

Desire the good of all. Distrust your mind. Begin selfless work. Giving up-Tyaga -is the operational factor.

Those who know only scriptures know nothing. To know is to be. Your own Self is the ultimate teacher- Sadguru.

He alone IS, he is your own Self-Swarupa.
