Qn: In Ramanashram, I concentrated in 'Who am I'. I was murmuring it or mentally saying it. I experienced inner stillness, peace and silence. It was a wakeful sleep (Jagrat-Sushupti).
Ans: Main thing is to be free of negative emotions, fear, desire etc. The Self is known as being, the non-self is transient. But in reality, all is in the mind.
Remind yourself you are in bondage. Let anything happen good or bad, but don't be submerged by happenings. The waking state is consciousness. Then comes awareness, the totality of the mind.
You can know reality only by being it. Awareness is unattached, unshaken, lucid, silent, peaceful, alert and unafraid, without desire and fear. Meditate on it.
Qn: Who hears and answers?
Ans: Not who but what. I am beyond existence and cognition, the pure being of BLISS. The seeker and the sought are one and the search alone matters.
Search for reality or God or Guru or Self are the same; when one is found, all are found. When 'I am' and 'God is' become indistinguishable, then something will happen.
Then you will know 'God is' because 'you are', 'you are' because 'God is'. The two are one. For a seeker of Reality, there is only one meditation- the rigorous refusal to harbor thoughts.
The state of freedom from all thoughts will happen suddenly and by the bliss of it you will recognize it. Delve into your mind and you will find your answers there.
