58. Perfection, Destiny of All

Qn: For self realization, you invariably stress mind dwelling on the sense "I am". Why should this thought lead to Realization?

Ans: Observation alerts the observer and observed.

Qn: Will not any other sentence do?

Ans: As an exercise in concentration, Yes. But focus the consciousness on the only clue- the certainty of being.

It is the inner Guru who takes you to the outer. The Guru is always ready. You are not.

Only way to judge the Guru is by the change in yourself in his company. Once you accept the Guru, listen, remember and obey.

The Guru bides his time and waits for the disciple. The disciple, chastened and sobered, comes back to him.

Qn: Is a Guru inevitable?

Ans: To rise in consciousness, you need help. There is the body and the Self and between them, the mind.

Because of the imperfection, mind takes itself to be the body and not the Self.

Qn: Is there no end to self discovery?

Ans: As there is no beginning, there is no end. By the grace of Guru, I am nothing that can be pointed out as this or that.

It is the very essence of Yoga, ever raising the level of consciousness, discovery of new dimensions with their properties, qualities and powers. The entire Universe becomes a school of Yoga - Yoga-Kshetra.

Qn: Is perfection the destiny of man?

Ans: Ultimately. Mind must know itself in every mood.

Nothing is a mistake unless repeated.
