Qn: I see pictures of several Saints.
Ans: We are called collectively the Nine Masters. Our first teacher was Rishi Dattatreya. Their teaching is simple- both theory and practice. The circle of Navnaths, Sat-Sang expands as time passes. Power and grace are for all and for asking. The Navnatha Sampradaya is a way of teaching, not a level of consciousness.
Qn: What proof will I have that I know myself correctly?
Ans: No proof. The experience is unique and unmistakable. It will dawn on you suddenly. Without you, neither the universe nor its cause have come into being. All space and time are in the mind.
Qn: What is your attitude to sin?
Ans: I know no sin, nor sinner. Life lives on life. In nature, the process is compulsory; in Society it would be voluntary. A sinner refuses to sacrifice and invites death. When I see a sinner, I feel I am that man and his sins are my sins. When ignorance- the mother of sin, dissolves; destiny- the compulsion to sin again, ceases.
I see no saints or sinners, only living beings. I do not hand out grace. There is nothing I can give or deny, which you do not have in equal measure.
Qn: People around you maintain when you say "It will be all right", it invariably happens as you say.
Ans: It's mother's heart that saved the child. For every thing, there are innumerable causes.
Qn: A man who wants nothing for himself is all powerful.
Ans: Abandon personal desire and use the power thus saved for changing the world. The world is by nature painful and transient. See it as it is. Generally, what causes suffering -is wrong and what removes it -is right.
To know that you need nothing to be happy except self knowledge -is wisdom. Do not be afraid of freedom from desire and fear. Live a life different from all you know, more intense and interesting that -truly by losing all, gain all.
Proper role of a Guru is to dispel ignorance in the heart and mind of the disciple. What life cannot mend, death will end, but the Guru cannot fail. The Guru and inner reality are one.
Was there ever a world without troubles. The sub-human humanoid are dominated by Tamas and Rajas. Clarity and charity is Sattva. Know yourself to be the changeless-witness of the changeful-mind.
