Qn: Yoga
& Bhoga: The Yogi
renounces first, the Bhogi
enjoys first!
Ans: Leave the Yogi to the Yoga and the Bhogi to his Bhoga.
Qn: Bhoga is the better of the two.
Ans: Why?
Qn: The Yogis are bitter and astringent, spending time in trance.
Ans: You say that one gets stunted in Yoga and the other flourishes in Bhoga; The Yogi is ambitious; The Bhogi is adventurous, richer and interesting.
But, it is not so in reality. Outgoing (Pravritti) necessarily precedes the returning Nivritti. Bliss is in the nature of a great peace. The same consciousness (Chit) appears as Being (Sat) and as Bliss (Ananda).
All names refer to the Saguna.
Unmanifested Nirguna has no name.
Qn: You seem to identify Rest with the Supreme State.
Ans: Rest (Chidaram) is a state of mind. Rest as Being is Atmaram.
Former comes and goes. Rest is freedom from experience.
Qn: Is Tat-Sat a Mahamantra, a mode of meditation?
Ans: The Mahavakya is true. I am not addicted to Soham & Brahmasmi.
I am He and I am the Supreme. I have the courage to be nothing. Reality does not depend on experience. It is its ground (Adhar).
The undisturbed state of Being is Bliss. The beginningless begins for ever.
To be nothing, to have nothing, to keep nothing for oneself is the greatest gift and generosity.
