Qn: You are extremely alert and active with excellent memory. How to understand your statement that the world does not exist for you?
Ans: It is a matter of focus. Mind should be normally in abeyance. Incessant activity is a morbid state.
Qn: So a Jnani knows what he is doing only when his mind turns to it; otherwise he acts without being concerned!
Ans: Average man is not conscious of his body, but sensations, feelings and thoughts. Even these move from the center of consciousness and happen spontaneously and effortlessly.
Qn: What is the center of consciousness?
Ans: That without name and form, quality and beyond consciousness, a point in consciousness and yet beyond. Like a hole in paper.
Qn: Is there any connection between mental space and the supreme abode?
Ans: Supreme gives existence to the mind and mind to the body.
Qn: What lies beyond?
Ans: Universe is name and form. It is there because I am, but I am not the world. I am neither potentiality nor actualization nor actuality.
Qn: The fully relaized abides in the supreme state, appears to eat, drink and so on. Is he aware of it or not?
Ans: That in which consciousness happens is the ether of consciousness. All the objects of consciousness form Universe. Beyond is the Supreme State, a state of utter stillness and silence, unreachable by words or mind.
Call it God, Parabrahman, Supreme reality. Names are given by mind, but it is the nameless, contentless, effortless and spontaneous state beyond being and non being.
Qn: But does one remain conscious?
Ans: As Universe is the body of mind, so is consciousness the body of the Supreme. It is not conscious, but gives rise to consciousness.
The supreme state is entirely one and indivisible. To perceive, it does not need senses; to know, it does not need mind.
Qn: That is how God runs the world?
Ans: God is not running the world. All happens by itself. All is a play in consciousness.
When you see the person and the witness as one and go beyond, you are in the supreme state- beyond being and not being- timeless reality, unbelievably hard and solid.
The Gnani is the Supreme- also the universal witness. The person has no being in itself. It is a reflection in the mind of the witness.
Qn: Is the supreme conscious?
Ans: Neither!
Qn: In the term 'Pragnanam Brahma', what is Pragna?
Ans: It is the un-selfconscious knowledge of life itself.
Qn: Is it vitality- the energy of life?
Ans: Energy comes first. Everything is a form of energy. Consciousness is most differentiated in waking, less in dream, still less in sleep, homogeneous in the fourth state.
Beyond is the inexpressible, monolithic Reality. Consciousness itself is the source of everything. It and life are one. But in reality, only the ultimate IS, nameless, formless, pure, energy of light and light of consciousness.
When you understand you will be in peace, in the deep silence of Reality, beyond known and unknown.
Qn: What is the place of Samadhi?
Ans: Not making use of one's consciousness is Samadhi. You just leave your mind alone.
You want nothing, neither from the body nor the mind.
